# Mapping and Reference Functions

The functions in this section help modelers transform data in Metrics and align inputs to output.

This section covers functions such as FILLFORWARD and FILTER, but also includes the modifiers BY, ADD, REMOVE, KEEP, SELECT, FILTER and EXCLUDE. The modifiers let you adjust the dimensionality in your Metrics. See each page for more details.
