# Test Connection for Pigment Integration

Connection testing is an easy way to ensure your integrations are properly set up before using them to configure an import. You can perform connection testing for all Pigment integrations wherever you need to check credentials input.

> [!WARNING]
> **⚠️****Important**
>
> OAuth integrations are excluded from connection testing.

When you configure a new connection, or when you edit an existing one, you can click **Test connection** before saving.

- If the credentials are correct, a confirmation message displays **Connection successful**.
- If the credentials are incorrect, a warning icon is displayed, and the **Test connect**button remains active so you can retry.
