This menu beside the formula bar provides options to help you understand, manage and optimize your Metrics’ formulas.
Access the menu by selecting the three dots to the right of the formula bar. Select the ⨍ button in the top toolbar if the formula bar is not visible.
Prettify formula
The article How to make your formulas easier to understand provides tips on how to indent, comment and use tabs to make formulas easy to scan. Alternatively, you can select Prettify to implement several tips all at once, or use its shortcut: cmd/ctrl + ..
Add formula for Scenarios
Use this option to manage which Scenarios should use the formula displayed in the formula bar and which should not.
Open in Formula Playground
To build on the current formula, try ideas first in the Formula Playground.
Show performance improvement hints
Turn this on to have performance improvement hints appear beside the ⨍ symbol and by each line of the formula. For more information, see Performance Improvement Hints.
Convert formula to values
Select this to remove the current formula and convert cell results into static values. For more information, see Model with Lists.
Explain the formula
Select this to see context provided by Pigment AI. For more information, see Other Pigment AI features.
