AI Credits in Workspace Settings lets you monitor your Members’ usage of AI and their consumption of your organization’s AI credits over time and by tool. This section sets out how to understand and manage usage of Pigment’s AI capabilities.

Before you begin

What are AI credits?

An AI credit is Pigment's unit for measuring consumption of AI capabilities in your Workspace.

AI credits can be consumed when you use AI-powered features such as:

  • Pigment AI Agents

    • Analyst Agent

    • Modeler Agent

    • Custom Agent

    • Documentation Agent

  • Predictions (machine-learning forecasts / time series predictions)

  • Pigment MCP server

  • Formula Explainer, Insights

  • Other AI-assisted experiences that may be added over time

AI credits are designed to:

  • Provide a single, consistent way to measure AI usage across features.

  • Give administrators visibility into overall consumption.

  • Enable guardrails to help keep usage within plan limits.

Access AI credit usage information

Access to usage information is limited to the Workspace Admin and Security Admin account types. For more information, see Account Types and Management.

Find the AI Credits page

The AI Credits page is the place for Admins to track AI credit consumption across your Workspace, by time period, Member, and feature. To access it:

  1. Open your Workspace homepage by selecting the Workspace name in the left sidebar of any Application.

  2. Select Settings from the left sidebar.

  3. Under Workspace settings, select AI Credits.

Track AI credit usage

The AI Credits page comprises the below sections allowing you to monitor your Members’ consumption.

Top panel

The top panel of the AI Credits page shows the following AI credit information for the current billing period:

  • Your AI credits quota for this period

  • Used portion of the quota as of now

The data updates in real time, as indicated in the top-right corner after Last updated.

When you reach your AI credit limit, the following message appears in this panel:

Your Workspace AI credits limit has been reached. Contact your CSM to add more credits.

Usage chart and bottom panel

The main pane shows a chart of your organization’s usage of AI credits by time and by AI feature. You can switch between the following data types:

  • Daily

  • Weekly

  • Monthly

Use the Filter by drop-downs to narrow down the chart data by Member, AI feature, and date range. These control the chart and the table in the bottom panel.

Hover over the chart to:

  • See detail on data points in the chart.

  • Bring up buttons that increase and decrease text size on the chart.

The bottom panel is a table of usage statistics for Members and Features. Under Features, Predictions and the main Agents are treated individually, while all other AI usage, including Documentation Agent usage, is grouped under Other AI features.

Hover over a Member or Feature to bring up its Focus on… button. Select this to switch the scope of the chart and table. It focuses on the selected Member or Feature:
