Agent connectors allow your Pigment Agents to access common collaboration products such as Notion. While Pigment’s MCP server allows your Pigment data to be used in other products, these Connectors allow other products’ data to be used within Pigment.
The following connectors are available or planned:
Notion (available)
Slack (coming soon)
Google Drive (coming soon)
Custom MCP servers are not supported at present.
Before you begin
Roles and Permissions
You need the Owner, Security Admin, or Workspace Admin role to enable Agent connectors. Members can only interact with connectors already enabled by Admins and need Access AI Agents permission to interact with Agent connectors.

ℹ️ Note
Once connected, the connector's tools are available across all Agents in all the Workspace’s Applications.
Configure Agent connectors
Setting up Agent connectors is a two-step process involving both an Admin and Members:
Admin: enables an Agent connector.
Member: connects using their own account before using the connector.
Enable an Agent connector
Only the Owner, Security Admin, or Workspace Admin can perform these steps:
In your Application, select Settings, the three-dot menu at the bottom of the sidebar.
Scroll down and select Integrations under Workspace settings.
Select the Agent connectors tab in the main pane.
Turn on the toggle by the connector you want to enable. You are asked for explicit confirmation of your trust in the connector.
Authenticate as a user when prompted.
For each tool exposed by the connector under Read-only tools and Write/delete tools, define Agent behavior as follows:
Always allow: the Agent can call this tool automatically, with no user confirmation needed each time. Best for safe, read-only actions.
Needs approval: the Agent can propose calling this tool, but the Member must review and confirm it before it actually runs. Best for consequential actions such as creating, deleting or editing.
Blocked: the tool is disabled entirely; the Agent cannot call it at all.
Custom permissions: set each tool’s permission separately.
The connector is configured and becomes visible to all Members in the Workspace.
Deactivate a connector
To deactivate a connector, turn off its toggle in the Agent connectors tab. To find the Agent connectors tab, follow the guidance above until step 3.
Deactivating has the following effects:
The connector is immediately removed from Members’ Sources (see below), and any Member using this connector loses access.
Any previous chats relating to that connector remain in Chat history. Data retrieved or files created from content in the sources are also retained in chats.
Set-up selections, including the choice of Agent behavior such as Always allow, are lost. If you subsequently turn the connector on again, you need to set up again.
Each Member connects using their own account
In any Application in the Workspace, select Settings, the three-dot menu at the bottom of the sidebar.
Scroll down and select AI preferences under Account settings.
Under Sources, select Connect by the tool you want. If it is not there, ask your Workspace Admin to enable it using the guidance above.
You are asked for explicit confirmation of your trust in the connector. Select Continue.
ℹ️ Note
Alternatively, once an Admin has enabled a connector, Members can also connect directly in a chat with the Agents:
Select the plus (+) symbol in the Chat input field. The connectors set up by your Admin are shown under the Web Search toggle.
Select the connector you want and start using the connection.
The connector is now set up for you across all Applications in this Workspace.
Disconnect a connector
Members can disconnect a connector by selecting the Disconnect symbol in Sources. To find Sources, follow the guidance above until step 3.
Disconnecting blocks live access to the tool. However, the following remain available:
any chats referring to the tool
any content from pages you asked Agents to retrieve through the connector
any files created by the Agent made from content on those pages
What connectors let Pigment see
After a connector has been set up, the Pigment Agents can see the following:
anything you ask the Pigment Agents to create in the connected tools. For example, if you ask the Modeler to create a page in Notion, it is visible.
anything in the connected tools that you explicitly share with this integration, whether private or shared. It does not have automatic access to your private space or the entire shared workspace.
